Cop killer feared gun ban and zionist military policing by the Government
Apr 7th, 2009 | By chamay0 | Category: Media InfluenceIf you walk on the sane side of the world you might wonder where the young men got his flawed logic from or if perhaps he was suffering from some mental disorder. However, if you walk in the valley of the wingnut, you know damn well where the shooter picked up his tainted and flawed understanding of the government.
It is no shock that the young man had a twisted perception of what is really going on in the government; especially, when you have contributors such as Glen psycho-boy Beck, Sean sissy-boy Hannity, Rush King-Pillbooza Limbaugh, Bill bull-shit-morality O’Reilly, Congress woman Michele lost-her-mind Bachmann and others from the wingnut tribe egging on the public with their flagrant rhetoric, that does nothing but enhance some citizens that are not mentally capable of processing information correctly into believing someone (usually the government lead by President Obama) is out to get them.
This is not a lecture on those that preach such nonsense not having the right to free speech, but that they take responsibility for their rhetoric and what that rhetoric can and does lead to — unnecessary murder and bloodshed. I personally know that NPR has sent out emails with reference to the military police state that the President is supposedly mounting, granted the email was an advertisement from their sponsor. It is presented through an email as an endorsement for buying the book “Social Chaos: Survival Guide,” by Independent Living. The theory is promoted without a shred of real evidence or facts and only offers the supposition of the sellers word that it has any validity (sorry, after reading the crap I deleted it).
I fully understand that what the wingnuts are preaching is for the sole benefit of Bush’s legacy being perceived as a success in any capacity by President Obama failing. Revisionism in its highest form. However, that may be all good and well for the intellectuals to toss around and play with and the TV personality to use to get higher ratings; but, for the general public where you have unstable minds it is beyond dangerous. There’s also the fact that the rhetoric coming from the right reeks of sore loser and present itself as a constant whine and nit picking over trivia. That part is all find and well; but, when you start adding the misinformation doused with lies and false insinuations you have a recipe for disaster.
A year ago President Obama, while running for the primary against Hillary Clinton, accused people of being bitter and clinging to their guns while being confronted with the hopelessness of an economic downturn and the fact that they had fallen through the cracks of two administrations (Clinton and Bush). Turns out he was not wrong. Yet the wingnuts would have us believe otherwise. Just go here and see what 1 year later has been coming from the wingnuts over that issue and what hopelessness with a mix of wingnut bullshit has given us.
Seriously, there’s a huge difference between mental patients or impressionable children mistaking fiction for reality, and adults with fixed ideologies and loaded guns acting upon calls for revolution from real-life elected officials and news network commentators. Huge difference. [Source: Bob Cesca]
The following video is Beck trying to make like it didn’t happen. How pathetic. I have a library of him telling people to rise up, we are headed to socialism, headed to fascism, the government is going to take your guns away, blah, blah, blah. What was funny was after he so called absolved himself of any personal responsibility towards the shooting he reminded people that an uprising was coming (you know the one with tea bags, not guns or pitch forks). Wait…then he tried to flip the script and act like someone (the left of course) was accusing him of committing murder.
Then to further promote his campaign of hate he pulls out a Obama Dashboard doll made in China. That furthered his cause how? Then of course he went on the you are blaming conservatives rant. Okay, then he’s correct. If conservatives are as irresponsible as him, then yes they are just as responsible for releasing carnage. Then of course Beck reached into his bag of more BS by bringing up AIG. I can only wonder where Beck was while the left protested and is still protesting AIG. I guess BS does not always work for those that know the truth. Unfortunately for Beck we are all not zombies.
Beck then brings up Fannie and Freddie. The usual GOP talking point of how the poor did it and we rich need to stay rich. Help us blame the poor. Its there fault. The pettiness just does not stop. Time for Beck to move on to quoting a person of caliber. The fact that Beck pulls up David Leonhardt means what exactly? He takes an excerpt and twist it to mean what the author was not portraying, which most Fox 24-hours-of-bullshit shows is good at. Let’s look at Leonhardt comment in a better context:
More than any other country, Germany — Nazi Germany — then set out on a serious stimulus program. The government built up the military, expanded the autobahn, put up stadiums for the 1936 Berlin Olympics and built monuments to the Nazi Party across Munich and Berlin.
The economic benefits of this vast works program never flowed to most workers, because fascism doesn’t look kindly on collective bargaining. But Germany did escape the Great Depression faster than other countries. Corporate profits boomed, and unemployment sank (and not because of slave labor, which didn’t become widespread until later). Harold James, an economic historian, says that the young liberal economists studying under John Maynard Keynes in the 1930s began to debate whether Hitler had solved unemployment.
No sane person enjoys mixing nuance and Nazis, but this bit of economic history has a particular importance this week. In the run-up to the G-20 meeting, European leaders have resisted calls for more government spending. Last week, the European Union president, Mirek Topolanek, echoed a line from AC/DC — whom he had just heard in concert — and described the Obama administration’s stimulus plan as “a road to hell.”
Here in the United States, many people are understandably wondering whether the $800 billion stimulus program will make much of a difference. They want to know: Does stimulus work? Fortunately, this is one economic question that’s been answered pretty clearly in the last century.
Yes, stimulus works. [Source: NYT]
I guess for Beck and et al. twisting and distorting the facts just keep marching on. Reading Leonhardt full context does not portray the message that Beck was triyng to get across. I’ve read quite a few blogs from the left regarding this matter and no one is accusing Beck of murder. What people are accusing him of is taking responsibility for his rhetoric. At TLPOS we are calling Beck out for his rhetoric. With the help of his team mates (listed above) they have given people (the unstable included) cause to feel that they are painted into hopelessness and that their is a real urgency need to rise up, take arms, fight back as the best way to express their anger. Okay. That’s what the cop killer did. Where’s the problem?
Really what the fuck did they expect? Did they really think they had a base of reasonable people? What reasonable bunch of people associate themselves with tea bagging or going Galt?
