It has become increasingly clear that the basis for the Tea Party event had more to do with the ugly underbelly of people that just hate our President more then it had to do with any of those ignorant people having valid knowledge of history or a real reason to protest. Taxation without representation, indeed.

Click here to view the embedded video.

The core premise of hate (or the more popular term, racism) showed through, just like heat rays emanating from the sun and melting ice. Had the event any real structure — outside of “if you hate him, show up” — we would not have been subjected to hearing the same old message we were forced to listen to via our phones, TVs and radios during the general election. He’s a:

fascist

socialist

liberal

communist

marxist

Such a mix of ideologies alone gives way to the confusion of those peoples intellect. There is no way possible for someone to harbor all those ideologies at the same time. It is inherently impossible. Of course let’s not leave out how he’s also a:

baby killer

Muslim (with his fake birth certificate)

stealing our taxes

destroying our country

a terrorist

Blah, blah, blah. On and on it went, just as it did during the general election. The patheticness of the wingnuts whine seem to escape them completely. But it did not escape anyone’s knowledge that the whole campaign was pay for by the same bunch of racist that was behind pushing that message during the general election, wealthy conservative corporate lobbyist. Grassroots does not describe this fake protest, astro-turf is much more appropriate.

That the tea party event was promoted by Fox did not go unnoticed as well. In two days alone they ran over 58 ads. Nor did the incendiary rhetoric of the likes of Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck and O’Reilly (with other pundits of Fox chipping in) go unnoticed either. We all got the theme of the message, they want President Obama to fail; however, the excessive name calling was over the top and only fed into the conservative imaginary hysteria and was a poorly construed mask for racism.

That the tea party protest was suppose to be a time for Americans to stand up for injustices committed by the government towards the people turned into a conservative constant trivia complaint rally that neither had traction or (even though they plan to do it again) real viability. For example let me compare their rally to attract attention versus a person who is capable of attracting attention:

Tea Party Rally in Denver

Now let’s compare that to real drawing power

Then Senator, but now President, Obama's Rally in Denver

The comparison is stark and obvious in its reality. The Tea Party had nothing to do with bi-partisanship, Americans or the people. It was a conservative event that was, judging by the overall attendance, a flop. So much for the rhetoric that it was successful and the people have spoken.

As if the ridiculousness of the conservatives pretending they were going Galt (even though they neither went Galt or much less went away) wasn’t good enough for the conservatives. They had to go further and show their silliness by equating themselves with the tag names of tea bagging and 2M4M. Of course once the full knowledge of just what they had associated themselves with became fully known Fox 24-hours-of-crap started whining over how everyone was being childish for noting the irony of the name. Yet, the laugh still remained on them. Fox could not save them by pretending their protest had one ounce of reality, much less spending or taxes. The conservatives had, once again, loss. Their tag names alone showed their stupidity and total irrelevancy.

For anyone that is not sure this is the same crap from the general election (or have a short memory), I give you a video from the past:

Click here to view the embedded video.

Where is the difference?

The GOP is only exasperating the situation and furthering the isolation of the conservative base by their constant wonky rhetoric. It does not require an educated guess (or above average intellect) to know just who the GOP is talking to when they start uttering nonsense such as seceding from the United States or that there is some holistic value in denying their constituents funds for unemployment and education during these horrible economic times. There is only one group of people that like to call the president a socialist while they hold rallies in tax paid for socialized parks, surrounded by tax paid for socialized police, decrying taxes while they waste money on a million bags of tea, conservatives.

Instead of finding a real message the GOP prefers to dabble in the Lee Atwater stradegy of “us” against “them” hate message. Thus they have completely emersed themselves into the right wing extremist rhetoric and have much to decry (and be paranoia) regarding the DHS report.

Glen psycho-boy Beck who has been on a slippery slope of sliding into insanity might have finally arrived at that final destination. Judging by the show he put on last night one can only wonder if he has finally cracked and is now suffering from what could only be tagged as inevitable due to his schizoid rants and ravings.

It was with the usual amount of amusement that you could listen to psycho-boy Beck on the following clip lashing out at the president over everything and ending with the president now addressing immigration (which obviously is his real sore point). I’m sure we’ve all come to the the conclusion that the president just being capable of breathing would be a point of contention for psycho-boy Beck.

Psycho-boy Beck does not disappoint for representing the unnecessary and totally stupid with a dash of bizarre in this episode where he found it necessary to pour gasoline (which was really water) all over a willing stooge, Bill Schulz, and then strike a match. That was symbolism for President Obama setting the American people on fire with his policies.

Of course that’s if people could forget the reality (not symbolism) of Bush crashing the economy, to actually have time to speculate over some hypothesis of what President Obama is doing based off the constant ranting and raving from someone that has completely flew over the cuckoo’s nest.

The time is now for Fox News to stop pretending that the tea party protect is some type of bi-partisan affair. That is so far from the truth. The fact that Fox is promoting the tea party is reprehensible and scary enough; but, let’s be realistic about what’s going on. This is a conservative base protest and has zero to do with the rest of the population.

Over at News Hound a post by Ellen puts the tea party’s protest into perspective. You can hardly call this event bi-partisan with people carrying around signs that says (Google “tea party rally signs” and click Images):

“Obama is a Damn Liar, Biden is a Dumbass, Big Brother Needs to be Castrated”
“Liberalism is destroying America . . .”
“Hey Butt Boy . . . .”
“Revolt against socialism”
“Send Geithner to Gitmo”
“The Three Little Big Pigs: Pelosi, Reid and Obama”
“Obama is to the economy as the Three Stooges are to surgery”
“Teabag the liberal Dems before they teabag you” (Is “teabag” some sort of code word?)
“Obama sucks”
“Don’t blame me I voted for Sarah”
“O B A M A – One Big Awful Mistake America”
“O B A M A – One Big Ass Mistake America”
“Sorry Obama no teleprompter here . . . .”
“Don’t Tax Me Bro!”
“Obama Lies America Dies”
“Wanted . . . [photos of President Obama, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid] High Treason and Fiscal Sabotage”

As if that was not bad enough it has also been noted by me and others that these tea parties are not known for their ethnicity. I guess that’s another area where the grass root of the movement forgot to get all the grass.

And let’s take into account the mostly white crowds at the various rallies. In the mob photos, I didn’t see anything but white faces. Texas – all white; Orlando – all white; Topeka – all white (little confusion about the message there; one person held up an anti-immigration sign); Oklahoma – all white; Chicago’s Daley Plaza – all white; Santa Barbara County, California – all white (with the exception of the guy at the mic, who appears to be Fox News’ poster boy crooner in favor of the protests, Lloyd Marcus); St. Louis – all white. You get the drift.

There is nothing bi-partisan about this protest. Considering the position of Fox with their constant chatter of taking up arms, fascism, socialism, communism, and marxism, I can only wonder how dangerous some of these tea baggers really are; while I absorb the knowledge that the majority of these nut jobs were virtually silent while Bush was busy raping our country and throwing money around like it was penny candy.

Which leads to me wonder: where in the f*ck were these protesters during the administration of George W. Bush?

[sic]

The Tea Party Protesters clearly do not represent what the majority of Americans want. They claim to speak for “the people,” but the people have already spoken. They spoke with their ballots in the 2008 presidential election.

Such is the case with Fox’s promotion of a non-bias bi-partisan tea party. Now why am I not surprised?

But Fox does not stop there with a few lies; they have a bunch of liars. For example take Megyn Kelly’s lying about what republicans will be attending the tea party’s protest. She states that there is only two republicans attending when the real list from Think Progress is a lot longer [bold emphasis not mine]:

More insanity from the monkey on the right, Glen Beck. As I listened to Beck sputter more utter nonsense, it made me think of the mentality that was held in regard to the Black race in America. There was always a justifiable reason why Black people should not have any rights. No different with the Gay Rights, Yet, there is still something perversely sick about people that constantly live up in other peoples bedrooms.

Glenn Beck was able to keep a dry eye earlier today when he offered up a new-to-me conspiracy theory about gay marriage, that it’s really about “going into churches and attacking churches… Then you also have to go into the schools.” His guest for the segment was Megyn “I love to hate people of color” Kelly. Kelly didn’t buy Beck’s theory. Instead, she took a gratuitous swipe at President Barack Obama, offering her own conspiracy theory, that he secretly supports gay marriage. Of course, she had no evidence to back that up, just her “feeling” that he leans further left than he wants to admit. [Source: New Hounds]

Republicans don’t give up, they just look for new ways to cheat their way to the top. Although, I must note, there is nothing impressive by having Joe Scarborough, a fellow party member, telling Norm to quit. It’s not like Scarborough is one to ever quit serving up red meat, so why should Coleman quit?

After all, republicans are not known for their integrity, much less having any honesty. This is nothing more than a ploy for the republicans to keep the 59th democratic senate vote out of the house of senate.

This is, more or less, being done in accord to hopefully give the republicans a way to try to undermine President Obama getting his agenda done. You know the agenda that the President has been rock steady on achieving (health care, ending the war in Iraq, education, energy, and the economy). The same agenda that got him voted into the White House when we the people had our opportunity to speak by voting. Not, dare I add, by staging stupid racist double meaning named tea party protest, where we wander around on tax payers property decrying taxes that are not even in existence or governmental spending that started under another president.

I digress, this video is a clip of Joe red-meat Scarborough telling Norm to quit. There goes a voice to heed.
